For this price, you will have the ‘Starfish’ and ‘Cyber City’ themed covers for the Paperwhite Kids. There is also the version that comes with a cover having the theme ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ which comes for a higher $144.99.
The Kindle Kids, on the other hand is priced $104.99 which, as already stated, is priced 19 percent less than the original price. The e-reader at other times sells for $129.99. The Kindle Kids comes with a smaller 6-inch display which makes it more handy. The Kindle Kids comes with a cover having the themes Ocean Explorer, Space Whale, and Unicorn Valley. The price remains the same for all the three variants.
With each of the Kindle variant, you are entitled to Amazon Kids+ subscription service. The Amazon Kids+ service offers a variety of content which includes apps, videos, e-books, and such, all specially curated for children aged between 3 – 12. You have the option to cancel the subscription anytime within the 6 months period, failing which you will be charged $5.99 per month after the initial 6-month period is over.
The e-readers are also covered under the Amazon 2-year worry-free guarantee. If the Kindle breaks down within the 2-year period, it is going to be replaced completely free.
